Visitors can look forward to an exciting lineup of exhibitions, business-to-business meetings, cultural showcases, culinary experiences, tourism promotions, and interactive exchange programmes designed to strengthen the long-standing friendship and cooperation between Việt Nam and South Korea.

Friendly Football Match featuring Korean National Team LegendsThe festival will also feature trade and investment promotion events, a Korean product exhibition, and business networking opportunities aimed at expanding bilateral cooperation in commerce, tourism, and investment.

Throughout the festival, local residents and visitors will have the opportunity to discover popular Korean products and services, including K-Beauty, K-Food, and K-Style, while connecting with Korean businesses through investment and trade activities supported by the Korea Trade-Investment Promotion Agency (KOTRA).
Festivities will begin with a colourful street parade along Bạch Đằng Street at 5:00 p.m. on August 6, according to the Consulate General of South Korea in Đà Nẵng.

On August 7, Vietnamese and Korean business leaders will gather at the Meet Korea in Đà Nẵng investment promotion conference at Furama Đà Nẵng Resort. Held under the theme “AI – A New Driving Force for Growth,” the event will explore opportunities for innovation and economic collaboration between the two countries.
The official opening ceremony of the festival is scheduled for 7:00 p.m. on August 7 at Biển Đông Park, according to the city’s Department of Foreign Affairs.

A variety of entertainment and sporting events will take place throughout the festival, including a K-POP Random Dance, Korea Story Festival, golf tournament, friendly football match, a joint Đà Nẵng–Daegu music concert, and large-scale Vovinam and Taekwondo martial arts performances, offering visitors an immersive cultural experience.
More than 80 exhibition booths will be showcased during the three-day event, featuring tourism information, cultural displays, local specialties, and products from both Việt Nam and South Korea.

The festival also reflects the growing relationship between Đà Nẵng and South Korea. Last week, city officials welcomed the newly appointed Consul General of South Korea in Đà Nẵng, Han Jungil, reaffirming continued cooperation between the two sides.
Đà Nẵng has established friendship and cooperation with 10 South Korean cities and partners and currently maintains 15 international cooperation agreements.

South Korea remains one of Đà Nẵng’s leading foreign investors, with 345 investment projects valued at approximately US$1.33 billion, ranking among the city’s top four sources of foreign direct investment.
Educational cooperation has also continued to expand, with six South Korean universities signing partnership agreements with Đông Á University to promote academic exchanges, language education, and internship programmes.

Tourism continues to be another key pillar of the relationship. Đà Nẵng welcomed 2.1 million South Korean visitors last year, making South Korea one of the city’s largest international tourism markets.
Several Korean airlines—including Asiana Airlines, Jeju Air, Jin Air, Air Busan, Air Seoul, and T’way Air—currently operate direct flights connecting Đà Nẵng with Seoul, Busan, Daegu, and Cheongju, providing convenient access for travellers.

Looking ahead, Đà Nẵng plans to further strengthen tourism cooperation with destinations such as Jeju Island, Incheon, and Seoul, while promoting travel routes linking visitors to Central Việt Nam’s renowned UNESCO World Heritage Sites, including Phong Nha–Kẻ Bàng National Park, the Complex of Huế Monuments, Hội An Ancient Town, and Mỹ Sơn Sanctuary.
